Nokia Oyj uncovered a thin ‘Barracuda´ phone and six other handsets priced under Rs5600 on 3 May along with its cheapest 1200 model to be priced at Rs1960. A news that will quench the thirst of many.
When Nokia eyes evolving markets, Motorola and Samsung attack popular thin phone market. But this Nokia 2630 (Barracuda), slightly below 10 millimetres (0.4 inch) thick is a tough competitor to the rival thin names.
The handset will hit the shelves next quarter, with an estimated retail price of Rs4, 713.
