Nintendo also revealed that it has passed 4.7 million downloads of games by Wii owners since November 2006. Super Mario Bros., originally for the NES, is the leading download.
Nintendo also has plans to continue to release new games into the shop channel on a weekly basis, with new downloads available every Monday.
