i-Sobot

A month back, I came across 40cm tall humanoid robot - Manoi PF01. I was glad to feel the various sensors attached to it. To my much amaze, today we have exist “i-Sobot”, world’s smallest humanoid robot by Japan based company Tomy, an established name in toy making.

Unlike the largest robot, it seems to be a tiny creature with height 165-mm, weight 350g and is packed with 17 micro actuators and a gyro-sensor. This helps in maintaining its balance while performing over beats.

The white model of i-Sobot is for domestic use and the black one will be available for export. The robot is expected for sale on 25 October.
