As you wear the unique sunglasses while eating, they make the food appear al the more blue, dull and boring. And according to researchers blue is the least appetizing of all colours in the spectrum. So as you see the blue food, your mind will retract back…taking you away from the food and working towards a slimmer you.
I don’t know how effective they will be and we also hope they are powerful enough to stand against a foodie’s pull, who might not let them remain on the eyes once he is sure to eat!

Washing Machine cum Toilet to save water

By Andrew | March 22, 2008

Washing Machine cum Toilet

Now…finally the world is listening to the ‘SAVE WATER’ call! I’m saying this as I’ve seen this unique washing machine-toilet combo that does the trick. An intelligent work of mind, this unique gadget fits a WashUP washing machine over a toilet.
Now, the good that this appliance does is that once the clothes are washed, the used water instead of getting thrown away stores it in the load, which is later on used to flush the toilet.
Can’t resist saying that the combo must be an intelligent mind’s brain child. A great way to save water as usually the water left post washing is wasted by letting I into the drain. But with this at service, very easily we’ll be able to put it to a very much valid use. I hope the design gets the approval of the manufacturers and soon we can see it in as many homes looking forward to saving some water.

Philips AJL308: another run on the mill digital photo frame

By Andrew | March 21, 2008

Philips ajl308

I am not a lover of digital photo frames, for the simple reason that I want a photo frame to freeze a memory rather than keep on shifting one from other. But those who love this advancement of technology would also love this all new baby from Phillips.
Attractive to look at, this 7’’ screen comes with the usual SD/MMC card slot, with a little innovation offered in terms of fitting a clock radio and an MP3 player, which makes it a little more impressive than the older ones already hitting the shelves.
Other features that you can boast about the Philips AJL308 include cool WiFi, apart from being adroit enough in emailing pictures directly into the photoframe. Not just this you can even send images to the frames in text messages.
I don’t think the frame is good enough to catch the fancy of a real connousier of technology, who knows the right piece of technology worthy enough to invest 159 Euros.

The so-much-different concept has left us flabbergasted. It resembles Harry Potter kinda sinister way of execution and its hidden displays animates so often altering among a chronometer, magnifying glass, mirror, compass, news box, phone, media player, and TV. This communication device designed by Timofej Gorlov managed to reach at the first position at the Tancher design competition. They say the display screen comes from internal electronics and conveyed from the six built-in cameras.

Magic Mirror Concept Cell Phone

This device is capable of reading your lip movement and identifying your verbal instructions, for which the credit goes to the cameras and machinery. The base of the device is a glass frame that produces delusion, thereby adding to the shifting in the internal space of displays.

By Andrew | March 17, 2008

IPhone

Here a treat for the luxury lovers! Well, who doesn’t love luxury, it’s just that how many can afford it.
So for those who boast of affording it can take pride in owning the world’s most expensive iPhone. Austrian luxury designer and jeweler Peter Aloisson has added another feather in his cap after designing this lavish piece of technology
What makes this phone so special is the use of 138 Princess cut diamonds and another set of 180 brilliant cut diamonds on its surface.
This is not where the story of opulence ends. The 17.75 carats of diamonds find a home in 18k white gold around the rim of the phone. The best quality of diamonds set in oure gold makes the iPhone a priciest possession for the tech lovers making it worthy of a price tag that reads $176,400 USD.
The rich souls who are planning to get there peie of luxury should know that the iPhone has already got a sustomer in a Russian businessman who ordered the phone way back in October 2007 for January 2008 delivery.
And if the princess cut edition is not your cup of tea, you cab put your hands on a comparatively cheaper piece which has only the brilliant cut diamonds and is priced at a modest deal of $66,150 USD…I wish I was rich enough!
