Smallest Mouse

Suckers for small and sleek things have something to look up to. ASUS has today launched the ASUS MS-71 Ultra-Mini Wireless Mouse, which is being touted as the world’s smallest mouse.
With configurations that can give any other mouse a chill, MS-71, the 2.4GHz wireless mouse is perfect exemplar of the good old adage “Good things come in small packages”.
As we got to know the vital stats of the ASUS MS-71 that were 65.8mm (L), 25.1mm (W) and 17.5mm (H), there was no denying that it’s rightly called the “1-finger mouse”. A close access and a compact positioning, the mouse seems perfect companion of the smallest and sleekest of laptops and notebooks hitting the market these days.
As far as the features go, MS-71 offers 800 dpi of resolution, which brings to you sharp and responsive tracking for precise cursor movements; while the 2.4 GHz RF receiver gives wireless capabilities of more than 30m.
Charge it for 3 minutes and you can enjoy 24 hours of uninterrupted usage. What more? It comes with an embedded protective IC for extensive overcharging voltage protection, so you have nothing to worry even if you overcharge the tiny mouse.

Biggest adspace BMW

Nor it is a test drive area of a coup giant…

biggest ad space BMW
No, this is not even a poster… ammm…let me help you…it’s something similar..
OK…no more guessing games…this is an ad which is more than 6000 square meters big! Located in Moscow, the massive size of the ad hoarding makes it the biggest adspace in Russia.

Biggest adspace BMW
Though it can’t be missed but still let me tell you that the cars that you are seeing in the background are no miniatures but life-size coups swooshing the ad, jazzed up with bright headlights and tail lights lit up during the night.

Biggest adspace BMW
When the ad has grandeur of this stature, the advertiser is got to be ace. And yes, this magnanimous adspace belongs to none other than the auto giant BMW and the promotion campaign is for their new BMW M5.

Caracol: The snail inspired one hand typing keyboard for handicaps
Posted in Computer accessory, Mouse on 1 April 2008

It seems the inventors and designers are donning their thinking caps particularly to do some good to the less fortunate who lose their limbs to some deadly mishaps. Check out this new keyboard called Caracol that takes the designer cues from a snail. This one comes as an aid in time for the amputees as with this keyboard at use they’ll be able to operate their PC just as the regular people do it on their regular keyboards.
As I said it take the design hints from a snail, that’s because of its rotating key wheel that has a 5:1 gearbox so it will rotate to offer great deal of ease while rotating. Your hand rests on a comfy pad just as your mouse pad and you rotate the wheel by sliding your hand inside it. The rotation of the wheel allows the keys to rotate onto the fingers of the user so that he can type comfortably. The best part of Caracol is that each key in on the key-wheel is omnidirectional so that the user can type three different letters from a single key. The easy rotation feature combined with a limited finger usability not just makes typing easier for the handicaps but also adds into their typing speed.
Talk about putting the keyboard into use and you’ll find a great deal of applications of this technological wonder be it working on a photo or video work. In short the handicaps will no more be handicaps when it comes to having access to technology.

Cicarette box 668: It’s a designer cell phone
Posted in Cell phones on 1 April 2008

There’s nothing new about the designer cell phone concept, it has been there for quite a while. But cell phone manufacturers keep the excitement levels high in the concept by feeding the design hungry users with some of the jazziest of designer cell phones. And the all new Cicarette box 668 cell phone is another addition to the rocking trail of designer cell phones. Taking the inspiration from a Marlboro cigarette box, the 668 comes to fore as a dual band GSM phone that offers the regular features innovatively packed inside a chic outer design.
Talk about the features and you’ll find a 1.8″ color LCD screen on one side of the box, while other features like an awesome MP4 & MP3 player and 3GP videos player find a place here. One can also surf the web via WAP, while there are two games loaded in it including the good old Tetris and Five in a row.
Quite an innovative design but I wonder if it will actually find some takes for gone are the days when being spotted with a cigarette pack in hands was considered fashionable by the new Gen. But still, you can gift it to a friend who is trying hard to quit smoking. (hope he takes it in good spirits).
So if you are all game to grab your Cicarette box 668, then let me tell you the price. It’s available for ₤69.41 in red or white colours.
