JustDraw It: Power consuming appliances get rest here
By Andrew | May 27, 2008
Usually we think that switching off the gadgets means there’s no more power consumption, which is actually not. Even when electrical appliances are “turned off” they’re still consuming energy adding into your electricity bill. But to bring you out of this situation, designer Henry Huang, Jack Chang and Howard Yu have made a device called JustDrawIt.
To put it simply, it is a home timer for all your appliances telling you when the gadgets can be totally powered off without affecting your functionality. The clue to tell you that the amount oftime left with that microwave, toaster and lamp till the power goes off comes off from a row of LED lights. Though just a concept ill date, nothing can be said about its functionality till the product actually hits the market.
