Apple wand Rogers rates for 3G iPhone?
By manoj | July 8, 2008
Should the matter briefly. Users Canadians are not happy tariffs marketing of ‘iPhone 3G proposed by Rogers, and have also mobilized in a gathering signatures to be attached to’ Open Letter addressed to no less than Steve Jobs in person. And it seems that Apple has responded to with a kind of “sentence”.
It appears, perhaps because of manifest general discontent, that Apple intends to reduce to 10 or 20 the number of 3G iPhone that the shops of the Canadian receive for the start of sales. How to say, Apple has no power to require an explicit change to rates but can do a lot of pressure in that respect. Meanwhile, another rumor has it that Rogers is already discharging much of the part-time staff who had been recruited to manage the huge influx of public but, under the circumstances, at this point seems very unlikely.
Currently, the site of the petition has reached almost 44,000 signatures share.
