The Japanese Buffalo have launched a new external DVD drive, the unit DSM-SL20U2. The difference with the other units is that this is capable of climbing video DVDs that come with a standard resolution of 480p to the glorious 1080p, ie Full HD. It is also a DVD ± R 20x, 8x DVD + RW and DVD-RAM at 12x. It costs about 85 euros in Japan.
