Wooden Phone Pappa By Furni

Here is a handset that may remind you of the good old days of landlines when the phones were big enough to look like desktops or radios. The Pappa phone by Montreal’s Furni is a unique phone that is made of American walnut and brass. The phone looks really strange and is a sight to behold. This VoIP handset combines the old with the new and is a pleasure to the eyes. This wooden phone may be a new concept but looks great.

It comes with features such as Skype, iChat, and runs on Windows and OSX. The cord is nearly 1.5 meters long and would be delivered to you within 6-8 weeks. If you are looking for a phone that looks really weird and big, this may appeal to you. However I wonder what purpose it serves being so expensive and containing so little features. If only the device was slightly smaller, I would have given it another thought. The Pappa phone costs $300.
