New Biological Technology May Help Identify Terrorists

The Department of Homeland Security have developed a new anxiety-detection technology designed to detect unusually high biological fluctuations in humans at airport checkpoints like changes in breathing patterns, increased heart rate, etc. Our inability to know when someone is deceiving us has enormous consequences in the fight against terrorism. These bio scans may help authorities to spot dangerous people.
This may remind one of the redundant and annoying saying “prevention is better than cure”. You might have a doubt nagging at the back of your mind that a person might shows signs of anxiety the moment he walks through a checkpoint like quickened heart rate and heavier breathing, and fluctuations in body temperature.
The sensors which are a part of this technology have the capacity to spot and differentiate between the normal biological fluctuations and those of a terrorist. Though the technology is said to be still at its infancy stages it’s going to be hitting the markets soon and can help in pre-emptive measures to check terrorism.
