A Skull Becomes the Chassis For A Pinhole Camera

Ok here we go. I am fascinated by death and the decay it brings upon us. When the flesh disintegrates and all that is left is a pile of bones, the skull is the real striking image that leaves us with a queasy horror. However, as I said earlier, I’m fascinated by death and if any product has got something to do with death, I would definitely find it uber-cool.

Wayne Martin Bleger has created a pinhole camera called the Third Eye eerily, for it uses a skull as the body of the pinhole camera. The film can be exposed to light through the titular ocular cavity and the resulting picture is a blurred and creepy image just as a dead person or a dying person would see.

We know not what death is like or if dead people can see, but the thirteen year old girl’s skull which has metamorphosed into an uber-cool pinhole camera is a proof to the fact that there does lie something beyond death, though not pearly gates and heaven and hell.
