The scientists at Tel Aviv University and MIT have joined hands to build homes using trees. Unlike the traditional topiary airophonics, the idea is to the use a technique where in plants are grown without soil and then use these live plants to build homes and structures. This would allow architects and scientists to create basic structures such as park benches and bus shelters from plants.
These ecological homes come along with more of greenery to control pollution and save trees. Designed by a group called PlantWare these homes are made in an eco friendly way, and are equipped to convert massive quantities of carbon dioxide to oxygen, use solar panels and wind turbines for generating power and special composting septic tanks that convert human waste into nutrients for the tree.

The sun table brings to you another reason to thank the Sun God and be happy. Designed by Brooklyn based designers Devang A. Shah and Mike Low, the Sun Table when exposed to sun automatically stores backup energy, thanks to its big surface area perfect for the photovoltaic cells to snap in some sun power.
Made in teak and stainless steel, the sun table homes an integrated 64W unbreakable solar panel that charges even if it’s partially covered. Don’t worry of the take-care! The table is durable enough and can stand the tough weather.
Talking about the power, the table generates 13 amp hours at 12 volts, which equals 156 watts/hours that are good enough to power your laptop or portable TV for more than four hours. While the included inverter, gives you a regular wall outlet.
Want some more power packed action? Just tilt the table along with the hinge available to give it more sun exposure for more power. And the meter displays show the battery voltage and total hours the table has been on. Keep in mind the beep that comes when the table is low on power!

Here’s your chance to do your due to save the mother earth that too in a manner that ever dude and dudette who love to shake a booty would equally adore. WE are talking about a new concept created by Club4Climate founder Andrew Charalambous who is thinking expand his environmentally sustainable style of dance club into every country.
The Club4Climate project has everything that calls to tag it as a completely eco-friendly dance floor. Right from the organic beverages to waterless urinals, the automatic taps or for that matter the piezoelectric dance floor in the London outlet. The quartz crystals and ceramics used in the floor turns the gyrating energy into electricity. So every time you jump and groove to your fav numbers more you charge the batteries that power the club.
Not jus this, the surplus power generated from a wind turbine and solar energy system used at the club will also be diverted to power homes in the area.
There’s a freebie too for those who can prove they have walked or cycled to the venue. Now what’s that? They won’t have to pay for the entry. I am waiting for this eco friendly dance revolution. What say you?
