IFA 2008: The Thinnest 8 MM LCD TV
By Preeti | September 1, 2008

On IFA 2008 the ultra thin display concept is the biggest discovery of today .This is thinnest 32 inch LCD TV. This is the newest approach in the field of technology. At the perceive sound of it is a very thin light guide plate illuminated from the top and bottom by high-power, energy-efficient LEDs. This LCD TV has very small weight that is about 5 kg.

This new TV set is about ten times easily transferable because its weight is about ten times less then normal TV sets.As a result, hanging such an LCD-TV becomes simple and easy. This is really fantastic, energy efficient, high power LEDs. When you use this thinnest TV set using Philips patented light in-coupling structure and a fine-tuned out-coupling pattern, light can be distributed over the whole display area in a uniform fashion. The result, a very, very thin TV panel and it looks very pretty too.
Worlds Thinnest LCD HDTV-9.9mm KDL-40ZX1; Courtesy Sony
By Veronica | August 28, 2008

Whilst last year, we witnessed Samsung reigning the geeks’ minds by creating a buzz through its offering of 40”-inch screen 1 cm thick LCD with little awareness that come 2008 and they may have to face competition with Sony. Lately, Sony has made up to headlines as it has bagged the crown for developing worlds first-ever thinnest LCD HDTV. Measuring mere 9.9mm thick, the KDL-40ZX1 almost bisects the depth of Hitachi’s previous victor (suggestible to be installed in bathroom now) and hits the market with a whisper of Pioneer’s mega thin conception.
The model sports a LED back lighting, 3,000:1 contrast ratio, 120Hz MotionFlow tech, x.v.color and BRAVIA Engine 2 image processing. Clarity about the available facts detail only one HDMI plugging onto the screen itself whereas other needless HDMI/USB/ constituent inputs are consigned to a base station, with the choice for wired or perhaps WHDI based? Japanese will be allowed to emboss the ZX1 on their walls if they are ready to shell out $4,474 on 10 November (expected date fopr its market availability).

The webcam BenQ M2400HD the screen is removed and put
By manoj | August 9, 2008

This is one of those little things that make the difference between screens and some others. He does not much talk of launching a couple of new screens BenQ, a 22-inch and one 24, the model BenQ M2400HD. In AVING can see a little more detail on this screen with curiosity that your webcam higher, which is not integrated within the framework of the screen is “removed and put”.
Just have a USB 2.0 port at the top, where it gets to 2-megapixel webcam. Is not this great detail? But good news comes after a bad, it seems that these screens are delayed until September and not in August as announced in previous news.

Apple Cinema Display: in January to end the agony?
By manoj | August 7, 2008

Sometimes it seems that Apple simply forget to have some products in the catalogue and that they remain there, real estate, until someone will remember them. For a comparison we take for example the ‘iMac: the first version G5, based on the design of its Cinema Display, is dated August 2004.
Since then the ‘all-in-one has been well-2 major restyling and numerous small updates. A big difference.
The ecology could, however, come to the aid of those hoping for new screens: the only reason that could push Cupertino to update the range, which apparently still sells well despite the obsolescence is’ commitment made by Steve Jobs to free Halogen of polluting technology in the near future.
According to the latest rumors, would be the Macworld San Francisco the most likely for the announcement: in January could end the long agony of the Cinema Display, a chapter a little embarrassing in the history of Cupertino…
