A Miniature Helicopter That Doubles Up as an Aerial Camera
By Vlad | September 25, 2008
We all would like to have a bird’s view of where we are and sometimes other places too. If that is the case, you may have also wanted to fly and take pictures of what you wanted. However, you don’t need to fly but just use a miniature helicopter, which carries a cool camera and does the job of clicking snaps for you.
The Dragonflyer X6 is an uber-cool helicopter which doubles up as not just one camera but many types of cameras because it has interchangeable modules which allow you to switch between high definition video, still images, low light and thermal imaging camera. It also comes packed with a great remote control technology and has a 6-rotor design and a GPS system, which allows you to track it.
Helmets To Assist In Virtual Telepathy
By Vlad | September 22, 2008
If you thought the U.S. military is working round the clock to get the scientists to invent new devices to assist in the warfare, you couldn’t possibly be wrong. The latest in the line of development is a helmet that may help in virtual telepathy. Though a scary thought, the U.S. defense is hell bent upon reading the thoughts of its soldiers.
However, the helmet will be ready only after many decades. Hence, the soldiers need not worry for the moment. And moreover, the idea is to enable the soldiers to communicate silently. But of course, we all know that things are not so simple and it could be used for dubious purposes.

If you are looking for a home theatre remote control, you are in for a big surprise. The MX-6000 provides users with access to their media library and has a narrow band 418 MHz transmitters and 802.11 B/G WiFi transceiver. Hence this must be the first remote control to be offering the two independent communications at the same time. You can access iTunes, Windows Media Player and if you have the PSX-1 you can link iPods to Macs and PCs.

My Gadget-Picks this week
By Andrew | December 2, 2007
Starting from today, in this section I’ll post what all caught my attention in the world of gadgets but got miss from finding a place at the GadgetsBlog for reasons unknown.
though, the reasons is just one…there’s no dearth of good stuff).
So with this feature I’ll not just chuck the guilt of not talking about some real good stuff, out of me but will also give my readers a window to the blogosphere.
Here we go with ‘My Gadget-Picks this week’:
1. There are talks about the unspecified confirmation that a 2GB and 32GB Zen is coming in flash form…I’m lovi’ it already!
2. Dunno how I missed on this one. The soccer ball cum remote control is indeed a gadget worth vying for…
3. More than the tech part, what I loved about hese was the sensuous red colour and the unique shape that makes Teresonic’s Magus compact speakers, more of an object-de-art.
4. A little scientific knowledge is good without any doubts. Very soon we’ll have a system to convert waste heat from factories, into food-grade baking soda…hope Global warming will get a good kick!
5. Last but not the least. A self help for men who just dream about making their gal happy in bed…now you can hear a happy woman in the Orgasmo clock!

By Andrew | May 6, 2007

No additional buttons, the giant keys (22.2mm square buttons) of the remote is what makes it the biggest. This personality of the remote helps in its identification, leaving no fear of its getting misplaced now under your newspaper or within your book as a marker.
I believe this will ease your fingers. Its vast functionality justifies its name. This remote commands its control over 6 devices (TV, VCR, DVD, SAT, Audio and cable), fulfilling your audio visual needs.
Other significant features:
- Preprogrammed auto code searching, compatible with the major brands of 6 devices (database compatible with over 500 audio/video devices).
- Easy device programming with setup codes
- Teletext and Fastext function
- All the classic function buttons: next channel, previous channel, volume, mute
- Access to all the buttons (play, fast forward, rewind, recording, stop, and pause) of VCR and DVD player
- Requires 2xAA Batteries (not included)
The remote can be purchased from Red 5
Price: $40 (Rs 2000)
Cushion control Remote: Only for Geeks
By Andrew | April 25, 2007

Heard about many designer cushions but this time lend your ears to geeks designer cushion remote control. And remote control with a difference. Yes, this suffix really sticks to its meaning. Designed by Didier Hilhorst and Nicholas Zambetti, this cushion control is a new generation gadget. Its extraordinary functions include power, volume, channel control.
But seems the functionality is a little muddled, as there seems to be no difference in the power of volume control from either squeezing the pillow or resting on the pillow.
Try and feel, feel the volume control and reply back because I don’t want to be the first generation user of this type of cushion
