3R System’s L-2000 LDorado is a unique space saving system which allows you to hide your ugly desktop behind the display. The L2000 looks elegant, classy and the large screen facility is just for those who love playing games on the PC or even watch one of those downloaded movies.
The L2000 cleverly hides all things that look ugly behind it and even saves space, which is exactly what those who are aesthetically inclined need. You could choose a screen between the sizes of 19″ and 24″. It also leaves access for DVD drives, USB ports and power buttons in your desktop. In my opinion, this system looks good and is functional too.

Kitchens are getting more techno savvy by the day. Take for example this Coffee Maker, which is ‘online’ and lets you ask it to brew some coffee for you, just in case you don’t feel like getting up and walking till the kitchen. The coffee maker is also fit with an 8-inch touchscreen and a Windows XP computer, just in case you wanted to browse the net while making the coffee.
I mean, look at the convenience. You could stay in the room and ask the coffee maker to brew coffee and you could also go to the kitchen and continue being online even while staying by the coffee maker.

LEGO models of aliens and superheroes have always been part of science fiction lore and people have religiously bought and admired these building block creations. Now that the Thanksgiving is just over, chances are that you remember the tangy taste of the turkey you had for dinner. This is where the Lego Turkey Mecha comes into picture.
Now we all know that the revenge of the turkey can be quite unnerving only that it wouldn’t come to life once it is consumed. However, if your luck were bad, this LEGO version of a turkey would come into life and show what it is like to be friend deep and then eaten up.

Innovations when it comes to safety seem to cross boundaries every day. With every leap in technology, new products and concepts to inspire more advancement in technology become almost abundant.
The Notify NavSystem would be a surprising and refreshing piece of news for people who thought that safety while riding a bike only meant a good helmet. The Notify NavSystem, designed by industrial designer J. David Weiss, is a stylish package that heightens safety amongst bikers by sending navigational directions to the rider. The Notify NavSystem includes two main components- a snazzy looking glasses and a watch. The glasses, which have a pair of earphones attached to it, receive signals which are then conveyed to the biker via the earphones. The watch component connects to the glasses through Bluetooth to send directions regarding terrain; these two components are kept up to date in real-time with A-GPS technology.

Natural calamities, like earthquakes, are just another way for the earth to say that it has gotten sick with the increase in population and would like to bring it back to a more survivable number, according to a famous economist. But for most people of the present generation, they just seem to be a way to give themselves a kick.
One of the most popular inclusions at this yearâs Tokyo Game Show 2008 is an earthquake simulator that can give you a real feel of how it feels like when an earthquake hits. The Zettai Zetsumei Toshi 3 can shake things up right up to Shindo 7 which is, supposedly, the strongest earthquake that could possibly be experienced. The Shindo 7 may, or may not, be the equivalent of the level of force experienced with an earthquake of 7.0 magnitude on the Richter scale.

What is in store for these used batteries and where you can take them to be recycled or safely treated and disposed? You should find a solution here with Energy Seed.
Battery recycling and reuse can have a positive impact towards our reduction of battery waste and pollution. So now its time to collect all the batteries that no longer power your digital cameras, baby toys and TV remotes, and deposit them in the base of this lamp. The lamp then glows, because even a mostly spent battery will be able to power an ultra-efficient light source. Recycling is processing of used materials into new ones to prevent the waste of potentially useful materials and bring down the usage of raw materials. By this we can reduce energy usage, pollution and gas emissions. Energy Seed concept by Sung woo Park is at its services in collecting all those spent batteries and recycling them.

GadgetsBlog is the last place you might think you would find yourself reading about the developments of the electoral campaign between McCain and Obama, but exceptions have to be mad every now and then. McCainâs recent remark about Obamaâs supposed ridiculous earmark for an overhead projector for a planetarium have the gadget freaks siding with Obama.
The projector in question is the Adler Zeiss Mark VI projector which is actually not an overhead projector according to a press release by the Adler Planetarium. The Adler Planetarium of Chicago further reveals that this is the projector which provides you the typical planetarium experience by reproducing the night sky in a dome theatre. Â The reason why Adler Planetarium wishes to renew their projector is because spare parts and service is no longer being provided by the manufacturer for the old design and a new projector is desperately needed for the continuation of the planetarium.

Youâve drove around your neighbourhood a thousand times and you claim to know it like the back of your hand. Youâve boasted to your friends about being able to get through the neighbourhood blindfolded and hopping on one leg. This might be true, but would you be able to fly your teensy little spacecraft through it?
In-car gaming systems have taken the term âwild drivesâ to a new level. Carcade, a new in-car videogame uses a landscape familiar to you so that winning truly becomes a matter of pride. Designed by three students from the Berlin University of Arts, Carcade uses a webcam via your laptop to capture and incorporate the landscape outside your car window into the game, so that you are left with the sense that instead of driving through the neighbourhood, you are flying your UFO through it. The difficulty level of the game changes with the scenario outside as the obstacles or the speed with which the car is being driven increases.

Your best headphone gives you the greatest sound quality, lets you adjust the volume, change tracks, and probably can connect to your iPod or mp3 player via Bluetooth. Yeah, sure, that is all really great, but does your headphone have a display?
The latest headphones by Nikon have a display attached to it apart from other cool features such as A/V player, Wi-Fi capability, and a high-capacity memory. An in-built source of power will keep the music playing for you. Nikon claims that the viewing experience on the two models, UP300x and UP300, would be equivalent to watching a 50â screen from a few meters away. Both models have dioptre adjustment for a pleasurable viewing experience by bespectacled users also. UP300x has an inbuilt memory of 8GB while the UP300 has a memory of half that.

Imagine pulling your phone apart and separately making use of the different functions available on it. Browse the internet at the same time that you are chatting away with your friends so you can tell them about a cool site you found while surfing. If you have often imagined having a magic phone that would allow you to do this, your dreams may possibly become true.
The Separate Keitai, a mobile phone from NTT DoCoMo Inc., has a key operation part that can be broken away from the display part so that the two parts can be used separately at the same time. Unfortunately, the Separate Keitai remains a prototype and, according to the company, a schedule for practical application has not been decided yet so the phone may never make it to the market. The two parts of the phone are joined by a magnet so it can be easily broken apart; these parts communicate via Bluetooth. The parts can also be connected horizontally, at which time the phone shows different images from that shown when the phone is connected vertically.
