Designer Apostol Tnokovski has break free the good old PC from the shackles of the monotonous squares and rectangular shape with his newly designed wonder in a spherical shape. Christened as the E-Ball is nothing but just a 6-inch orb-shaped PC which is being heralded as “the smallest PC ever made.”

It is definitely small when it comes to the size but as they say all good things come in small packages, this tiny round PC is no exception. It is loaded with all features that you can only dream of to have in a regular PC. It comes packed with a projected keyboard and display.

It recognizes your fingers with the help of an IR sensor when you are typing at a particular place, while the mouse is a pop out wonder making this an exiting piece of technology. Apart from that, E-Ball works on a dual core processor, a 250 to 500GB HDD, 2GB of RAM, integrated graphic card and sound card, 2 x 50W speakers, HD-DVD recorder, laser keyboard, LAN and WLAN card, modem, webcam and an integrated LCD projector.

B-Membrane the omni directional projector PC

All the latest computer designs seems to lose their charm the moment you put your eye on this new concept of computer designing called the “B-membrane”. Designed by Korean designer Won-Seok Lee this one is truly a futuristic concept that does away with the need of having those big and bulky monitors taking space in your work area.

If there’s no monitor then what works here? It takes the omni directional projector technology to project your monitor on any surface that you like. Apart from the monitor, even the keyboard is no less than a treat in the Kubrick inspired ‘B-membrane’. It features a membrane touch sensitive keyboard that appears only when needed through the integrated optical drive. To make it all the more interesting, when the computer is not in use it can be used as an ambient light to produce beautiful feects on any surface that you like.

GTS370: Tri-Screen Laptop From Acme Portable

One of the most curious developments view during the Computex Taipei 2008 (June 3-7) held in Taiwan was a GTS370 laptop with Triple monitor from Acme Portable. Well, it may sound strange but they have little laptop (363 mm × 394×292) as its sole attraction is that in an area like that of our tower brings together a keyboard, three screens of 17 inches and the respective computer, because what you see on the photograph are the three screens deployed.

Its characteristics are that it nevertheless attractive in what is hopefully, has a power supply of 650 W, three hard disks of 3.5 inches Sato, an expansion module graphics, up to seven card slots, as well as DVD drive or a keyboard with keys up to 87.

Yes, as novelty is quite strange but is not what a buyer moderately sensible buy because I at least I can not see the usefulness.

Yesterday we gave the solution for the small mobile phone keypad with the Mobile Keyboard, and today we are back to rescue those who find even their normal PC keyboard small and wish if it could get be a little big.
Electronic hacker..err ..designer Maurin Donneaud brings to you the Giant Keyboard Rug, which is so big that instead of your fingers your feet need to take charge to type in with this 20ft long keyboard.
You just need to roll it out on the floor and let your feet do the typing on this larger than life keys. How Maurin made this one was by punching hundreds of holes to make keys so that the conductive switches under the fabric work as pressure from your feet fall on it.
Built by electronics hacker Maurin Donneaud, the huge keyboard rug rolls out onto the floor, and lets your type with your socks on. In order to make the larger-than-life keys work, Maurin had to punch hundreds of individual holes under each letter to ensure that the conductive switches beneath the fabric would trigger when walked on.

If you are fed up of looking at your PC the whole day and recreation for you is limited to those computer games at max since your job doesn’t give you the flexibility to move out and relax then take a chill pill! I’m saying this as here is another computer game (don’t get irritated) with a difference. This one gives you mobility too. We are talking about the computer connected PC-Dart Game. All you need to get the game in your office is a USB port on your computer and 120€.
With this much at your end, all you need to do is have fun by installing the dart board on the wall and connection in the PC. As you hit the target, your screen will display the score to keep the competition levels high!
Not just this, it also features a number of gaming modes to keep you glued to the game even after frequent plays.
Initially the game will be available only in Japan and we hope to get hands on it in other countries as well. After all, recreation cannot be limited to a particular country.
