We heard of GPS tracking devices for kids, for aged grand pa(s) and grand ma(s) and not to forget that pet pooch or the naughty kitty…but one GPS tracking system that we are going to talk about now is indeed a gadget for a cause.
This people-tracking GPS comes from Keruve and is meant to keep a check on the Alzheimer’s patients. To help them, the system features a waterproof GPS tracker bracelet. The best thing about the bracelet is the fact that it can be removed only with a special tool and not just a plain human endeavor.
Apart from that, to tackle the emergency situations, the gadget can fall back on cell tower triangulation (otherwise known as A-GPS) provide a location when regular GPS is unavailable. The bracelet gets paired up with a handheld unit that tells you about the patient’s location on a map.
