By Andrew | June 14, 2008

Bath technology for dogs

Say bath, and your pet pooch turns into a horrendous wolf ready to tear you off? You are not alone, many dog owners are sailing in the same boat coz for dogs don’t love the idea of taking a bath. Check out IDEC Corp’s Wan Love Yu (Dog Love Bath) dog shower system micro bubble technology which touts of bathing your dog witj only water and bubbles and simply no soap.

Thanks to its micro bubble technology it can stably produce bubbles with a 20μm average diameter, that’s roughly 600,000 bubbles in one square centimeter. The bubbles which are negatively charged attach themselves to the positively charged organic particles on the dogs body and cleans his skin sans any shampoo or soap. It seems it works quite like a general soap molecule. The fine bubbles manage to reach the extreme surface of your dog’s hair making him perfectly clean!

The best part about Wan Love you is that, you don’t have to buy a separate equipment to use it. It’s generator can be attached to your regular hose and used to bathe the pooch.

It will be available in Japan from June 20 onwards for $6,000 to $7,000.Hmmm…what do you have to say about the price?

By Andrew | April 26, 2008

spa capsule

Most of us would agree with Aditi when she says that who would say no to a single day of relaxation at a spa even if it means digging out a big hole in the pocket. But if you are a bit greedier for comfort and relief and look forward to an extended session whenever you want then get home this new innovation called the Spa Capsule.

This wonder gizmo brings the luxury of a classy spa right in the comfort of your home.

Talk about the comforts and features, the Spa Capsule loaded with an LCD panel that plays the preset programs, adjustable steam therapy, infrared therapy, 14 Vichy shower heads, a cooling face breeze, aromatherapy reservoir, music facility and capsule remote control to name a few.

If features are as lavish as these, price has got to be equally great and yes, the Spa Capsule is a little high-priced at $20,000, but I guess those eyeing at utmost luxury won’t mind shelling out that much.

Now, the luxury story doesn’t end here, if you still want more, you can upgrade this basic version with a range of spa treatments in a hydrotherapy tub with 12 Vichy showerheads, voice activation, color therapy lights, ozone therapy, a built-in LCD TV. Once loaded with these features the Spa Capsule will cost you $36,000.

Washing Machine cum Toilet to save water

By Andrew | March 22, 2008

Washing Machine cum Toilet

Now…finally the world is listening to the ‘SAVE WATER’ call! I’m saying this as I’ve seen this unique washing machine-toilet combo that does the trick. An intelligent work of mind, this unique gadget fits a WashUP washing machine over a toilet.
Now, the good that this appliance does is that once the clothes are washed, the used water instead of getting thrown away stores it in the load, which is later on used to flush the toilet.
Can’t resist saying that the combo must be an intelligent mind’s brain child. A great way to save water as usually the water left post washing is wasted by letting I into the drain. But with this at service, very easily we’ll be able to put it to a very much valid use. I hope the design gets the approval of the manufacturers and soon we can see it in as many homes looking forward to saving some water.

Snow Room: The chilling spa

By Andrew | January 31, 2008

snowroom.jpgNow this is what I call a daring pick. After soothing yourself in that hot steam bath or letting the water waves pamper you in Jacuzzi, this all you bathing option will bring the guts out of you. The reference here is to the ‘Snow Room’.
Now, don’t thing it’s an over exaggerated name but it’s indeed an exaggerated bath concept where the temperature is close to “ten degrees below zero”, which will make you feel no better than those tunas stored in the deep freezer.
These chilling luxury spas, which offer the world famous Hot-Cold therapy will find a place in the major luxury hotels this year.
Already a hit in the European countries, people who have already tried the techniques cannot stop praising the health benefits that come when you get exposed to hot and cold environs alternatively.
Till the time, the spa hits the luxury hotel near you…keep reading the space for more updates on Snow Room!

Japanese change the way you Sh#t, with Neoflush600

By Andrew | January 26, 2008

totoneorest.jpg

The early morning act of relieving oneself from all the dietary sins that one commits the previous night in the solitude of his toilet is probably the most important act for the Japanese, since they are obsessed with creating WC systems that are par comparison when it comes to technology used and comfort offered.
The reference here is to their latest wonder, which they have christened as Neoflush600 from Toto. Neoflush offers everything that we had only dreamt off till date. Ordinary meets extraordinary the moment you ride on Neoflush 600. The lid rises automatically, while the jet wash is equipped with heated air dry function ad also the seat where you are going to rest straight from the bed won’t be freezing but comfy warm to welcome you. Hmm…as it this was less, they also give you a wireless remote, I don’t understand for what good, but their must be some catch that you’ll learn after some hit and trial. Last but not the least the cleaning act or the flush is christened as an enormous thing called a CycloneSiphon Jet flushing system that ensures complete hygiene.
Must say…the task will never be dirty and ordinary with neoflush!
