Motorola ZN4 Looks Dubious
By Vlad | October 3, 2008

Here is a weird looking phone which makes me wonder what the developers were thinking when they created it. The Motorola ZN4 will soon be released on Verizon on October 14 and the product lineup has been leaked internally. The flip phone does not really appeal to me but however, looks pretty ok.
It is supposed to be transparent and interactive which is not how one must describe a flip. The Krave will surely make people think twice and even gasp in disbelief, for no one seems to be able to understand what the idea behind this product is.

By Vlad | October 2, 2008

There have been a number of concept phones, which have been covered on this blog, but there couldn’t be anything like the one that we are going to reveal just now. The KDDI scientists have developed a concept phone that could see through the walls and in fact see through opaque surfaces.
The prototype was created using geomagnetic sensors, accelerometers, GPS etc. The device is equipped with high technology, which enables it to determine its own position and also render its surroundings on screen in OpenGL, which consists areas that are not visible. However this phone is still in a theory stage and has not been manufactured yet, even conceptually.

The MOTOACTV W450 May Soon Be Launched
By Vlad | August 29, 2008

If we are lucky enough, smart and sporty phone MOTOACTV W450 may just be on its way very soon to T-Mobile. Earlier the Motorola phones in the W-series came with features that told a million tales. Seems like this cool model is a T-mobile exclusive. The MOTOACTV W450 is designed innovatively with 1.3-mega-pixel camera, microSD slot, Bluetooth and media support. You will be thrilled to know the special feature of this mobile is its water resistance.
The phone may lack a number of features but it packs in more features than any, for a low-end basic model as this. The onslaught of high-end and fashionable phones has left basic range models with no place in the shelf. If the low-end models have to survive, they would have to pack in more features at a lesser price. Moreover, lately people have been spending more money than usual on cellphones. The MOTOACTV W450 would cost between $30 and $50 and is worth every buck you pay.

01 Mystery Phone May Spell Doom For iPhone
By Vlad | August 27, 2008

The iPhone might soon have something to replace it or even, be the cause for its demise in the market. The 01 phone might just be a better choice than the iPhone 3G and it features a slick design. It appears to be a laser projected keyboard and other features include a 5.0 mega pixel camera, 3G Internet browsing, 32GB of storage, a laser keyboard, play/pause, rewind and forward buttons, a full touch screen and a forward- facing camera.
New designer phones are being released everyday but not many have compared to the iPhone. However, it’s not sure if this product is ever going to be released. Recently, the iPhone has faced a number of criticisms including false claims made during advertisements. Any competitor must act at a time like this, if they intend to produce something better than the iPhone 3G. If the questionable 01 ever makes it to the market, one may see a number of technological and marketing strategies being changed.

By Andrew | July 8, 2008

The designer Jaren Goh introduced the Basic Tab, a concept for a smartphone touchscreen in the same style of the iPhone, but with a touch fashion. According to the designer, the main objective of this project was to create a normal cell, combining that with the clothes we use in everyday life, without calling attention to its technological advantages.
The front of the Basic Tab is a full screen, in the back, the camera was inspired by fashion accessories, and details of scholarships.
