Get innovative: Get Jupiter mouse, the accelerometer mouse
By Cheryl | July 15, 2008
Now we are going to talk about a mouse, but strictly for those who are indeed dead bored of the scrawling thing under their palm and are ready to experiment to the hilt. Check out the unique Jupiter mouse. Yes, it goes looks like a tiny miny wooden avatar of a ping-pong ball but it is actually a mouse.
Now coming to the functionality of this innovative version of the good old mouse, You bet it’s damn good. You just need to tilt it and the direction and velocity of the tilt will determine the movement of the cursor in this spherical wonder.
Even the Jupiter mouse rests under your palm but is better than the old concept since it brings a sense of novelty in that otherwise dud and dead job of scrawling and clicking. Designed by the minds working at Actbrise Electronics, the Jupiter mouse is handmade from Chinese flowering ash in Japan’s rural Gunma prefecture and is called so because of the natural wood grain swirls that it uses and of course the click button that resembles the largest planet’s famous spot.
A little bit of innovation and experimentation adds into the charm and breaks the monotony of a job…and the Jupiter mouse does exactly the same…hope you agree.

Design meets technology: ‘Glass No-key keyboard is world’s flattest
By Andrew | June 14, 2008
Delicate, transparent, elegant, subtle and classy are a few adjectives that we usually associated with a fine creation of glass. How about loading it with a great deal of technology, unique and intelligent designing and an equally intelligent concept to make a dazzling glass keyboard?
Yes, check out Kong Fanwen’s ‘No-key Keyboard’ and you’ll know what we are talking about. When flat-surface is spinning the world with every other cellphone, TV or ipod going flat, the no-key keyboard is another step towards the flat and touch-screen revolution but in something like a keyboard which was never thought of being ‘key-less’!
This one is the world’s first flattest full size QWERTY keyboard to date that features just a glass surface, camera and lighting! Yes, the all new alternative keyboard concept will be be packed with the latest motion capture technology to sense and watch your fingers pressing the keys to key-in just the right messages!
I just can’t imagine typing on a keyboard without even pressing the keys! Must say- the power of touch is working well! Though, other creations in the world of keyboards including the giant keyboard or the mobile keyboard were no less impressive.

By Andrew | January 31, 2008
Many times I’ve seen people complaining of being not too comfortable with their current mouse and wish to add their personal comfortable touch to the accessory. If this is a concern for you too, then without any doubts you’ll love this concept of moldable mouse and no wonders it has received enough accolades after winning the 2007 Red Dot Awards. The mouse offers you the flexibility to shape your mouse any way you like as it’s made out of lightweight modeling clay with a flexible polyurethane and nylon fabric. With this at your hand, you’ll be able to shape-up your mouse the way you are comfortable holding it…as a joystick or a side scrolled or in any other unique shape. All you need to do is shape-it up and out the ‘stick-on’ stick on, radio-frequency controlled mouse buttons and touch-sensitive scroll at any position you like.Sounds cool…specially for those who love change!Via: gadgetastic
