Samsung X360: Heads-Up To Axe MacBook Air
By Veronica | August 31, 2008
Is there anything lighter than Air? Ask Samsung and for sure you will end up hearing a loud ‘YES,’ as the smart guys there have lately unveiled their latest creation of Samsung X360 laptop. Those having developed an addiction for the MacBook Air and share mixed feelings of just not in a position to withstand OS X can now welcome an ultra-light laptop from Samsung.
Measuring .66-inch-thin, the X360 laptop is exhibited at IFA fair in Berlin and claims to be 1.27 kg lighter than Apple’s Air version. Put it across Apple’s MacBook Air and its USPs become quite visible. The 13.3-inch laptop weighs mere 2.8 pounds and shines against the stint appeal of MacBook Air. It features three USB ports (against Air’s 1), a 7-in-1 card reader (against Air’s none), HDMI and Ethernet ports (not a mention on the Air), VGA input, and not to forget Wi-Fi and a high-quality 1.3-megapixel camera sound.

Gold plated MacBook air
By Andrew | April 22, 2008
You must have already had a good glance at the Gold-bathed and crystal encrusted versions of MacBook Air…but the elite story doesn’t end here coz the brains at Computer Choppers have brought in some novelty to the wonder computer.
They have brought some more eccentric richness to the Mac Book Air with the uber-rich 24 kt gold plating. Call it the icing on the cake or the final stake through heart, they have also given the Apple logo a multi-coloured looked caked with precious sapphires accompanied by a polished gold SuperDrive to go along with it. At the end if your eyes are still fine after experiencing that dazzle you can work on his fully functional filthy rich piece of technology.

Apple unveils Macbook Air: The thinnest notebook
By Andrew | January 16, 2008
Here comes a treat for all those who are in love with the ‘slim –phenomenon’.
Apple Inc. has launched the Macbook Air, which is an ultra-sleek a 3-pound notebook PC. Now the example that they use to explain its thickness or should I say thinness is that it can be accommodated inside an interoffice envelope.
If you have it then you’ll be the proud owner of the world’s thinnest laptop available measuring 0.76 inches at its thickest point and tapering to just 0.16 inches.
Now that’s what I call super-slim, even the sexy models walking down the ramps will go green with the Macbook air, quite light as the name suggest…what say?
As far as the pricing go, the Apple’s Air is holds a price tag of $1,800. A close look at the price structure shows that the price seems good enough to give a close competition to Apple’s other pricier deals. Via: Reuters
