By Andrew | June 2, 2008
Came mobile phones and they brought with themselves a complete accessory industry to support their existence. Every new day brings a new invention and the latest is the all-in-one mobile stand from Hong Kong based Earth Trek.
This wonder gadget is not just a plain stand, but also offers features like a USB hub function, card reader (T-flash/Micro SD /Mini SD /MMC plus /RS-MMC/MMC mobile/MS /MS Pro /MS Duo /MS Pro Duo), a mobile charger and of course a mobile stand for universal models. So no matter what mobile you have the Earth Trek Mobile stand will help you always. It’s quite a tough competition to the iPod and iPhone charger that we spoke about recently.
There’s no update on the pricing, but of course we can tell you that it is available in black and white colours to choose from.

Business Cards are passé: Information Ring is the buzz
By Andrew | January 18, 2008

This is indeed a futuristic means to exchange the basic info, which was till now being exchanged through business cards. What we are here talking about are the “Information Rings”, that facilitate the transfer of contact details when two people wearing the rings shake their hands.
A concept initiated by designer, Hideaki Matsui, the Information Ring adds a new dimension to the universally accepted customary greeting action. The moment you shake hands with someone wearing the ring, the information about the two gets exchanged and stored inside the ring. More people you meet, more information keeps transferred, bringing people closer to each other.
And later on you can sit and browse on the card all the info that they have gathered during their meetings and shakehands throughout the day.
The part about the ring is that it uses no external source of power but the temperature of your hands for all kinds of info transfer.
Pretty futuristic seems to be the concept and also this global flow of info throu touch will also take some time till a great deal of people have the ‘Information Ring”.
