The angle of do-it-yourself: how to photograph insects without wasting time

how to photograph insects without wasting time., Hardware and technology ,Nikon, Trivia, d200, do-it-yourself, insects, shutter

Photographing insects is not very simple, requires attention, preparation and a lot of patience. This project can make things much simpler, thanks to electronics products. This compared to other tests require more time to prepare because we must build an external adapter with a shutter, because the inner is not fast enough for the insects. Even the 55 milliseconds of the Nikon D200 is not enough.

The shutter is activated by two photocells, when both are crossed, means that the insect is in front of the lens. An additional Garmin GPS can give the coordinates for the geotag of the image. When you arrive at the place where he intends to do the photo you set the camera mode bulb and manually focuses on the intersection of two beams and snaps are awaiting for dell’otturatore outside. 70-200mm, bokeh, canon, dg, ex, f2.8, hsm, nikon, sigma 70-200mm f2.8 ex dg macro hsm ii, tamron

With this review DpReview concludes the overview of 4 lens reflex 70-200 available for which we have already spoken in the past. This lens announced by Sigma-December 2007 for Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Pentax and Sony has a name that describes in detail this lens, EX identifying the best range of optical Sigma, DG which was designed for digital SLR and, finally , Macro because it is able to focus posts subject to one meter, surpassed only by Tamron, but much better than Canon and Nikon. In hand by a feeling of strength and is definitely better than the Tamron finished, but not reach the levels of Canon and Nikon.

On reflex APS-C, the sharpness is better around 100mm and openness is better between f / 5.6 f / 8, but behaves well opening up, especially with focal shorter. The chromatic aberrations are minimal at 70mm and 200mm increase to where we see the worst result of the four competitors, while distortion is maintained at low levels without creating big problems. A real problem for this lens is the fire which tends to be consistent and in fact in some forums we talk about front-focus to 200mm in the cases of photos macro can be important, while in normal almost non-existent.
