Posted in Appliances, Bluetooth, Camera, Cell phones, High tech, Luxury Gadgets, Misc. Gadgets, Mobile phone, Touch screen, Unique Gadget on 1 October 2008

LG has just announced the KC780 8 megapixel cameraphone, which may give stiff competition to Samsung’s new 8 megapixel cameraphone. Though the specs are not available yet for these phones, it is pretty evident that these are going to be high-end models with the latest technology.

It also is being claimed as the thinnest 8-megapixel cameras till date and apparently it will even beat Samsung’s M8800 Pixon. The phone may offer quad-band GSM support and also limited touch screen facilities. We can also expect cool features such as 30fps video recording and of course a very sleek and elegant design.

Is this a BlackBerry Storm 9530 or a BlackBerry Thunder?
Posted in Cell phones, Mobile phone on 29 August 2008

Whenever the launch date of a BlackBerry is announced people rush to get themselves. Discussions ensue over mugs of beer and blogs about the features, design and which BlackBerry is the ‘BestBerry’. These discussions seem to confuse rather than help those who are not savvy about the Berrys when it comes to choosing one that would suit them the best. RIM seems to be confusing its users even more by launching the new BlackBerry under two marketing names. The BlackBerry Storm 9530 and the BlackBerry Thunder appear to be the same phone in different packaging.

The BlackBerry Storm 9530 will be launched by Verizon in October and its doppelganger, the BlackBerry Thunder will be released by Vodafone and Rogers. Leaked packaging of the BlackBerry Storm/Thunder (I am not sure which now) shows some of the features that we can expect on it/them. This includes 8GB microSD, 3.5mm headset jack and pre-installed SIM card apart from other features. The model surprising does not offer wi-fi capability. I suppose RIM would soon start advertising the BlackBerrys with the tag, ‘What’s in a name?’

LG Chocolate 3 on track, Chocolate, Lg, Phone, Mobile lg-chocolate

If not for the other good terminal which is placing on the market, LG phones could expect the same thing as the Motorola RAZR: that the model is exhausted and fall over the same. The LG Chocolate 3 sins precisely the same thing. Already the idea is very light, there are terminals that the improvement even in design, which has been his way of being and that now is neither striking, and the user can even be tired of this idea of terminal design. In fact precisely this aspect is changed to create a phone-type shell.

The new LG VX8560 Chocolate or 3 is expected to exit the market in the July 16, and then we will find ourselves with a terminal with 1 GB of internal memory, expandable microSD card, with 2.2-inch QVGA screen, headphone output 3.5 mm , Stereo speakers and FM radio. As we see, their aspirations are quite musical. Good idea to include an FM transmitter among its features.
