Sun seeks unity in the memories SSD (ask…)

Another portion of the soap opera by memories SSD. Sun has asked companies that are developing and manufacturing units SSD to join and create global standards. We have already seen the particular case of SanDisk memories with Windows Vista, since that is the main problem, different level of performance between memories and the variety that exists (that is not so much to feed myself).

Of course that Sun seeks unity in this sector not by our good, that of final consumers, if not for large data centers that they are responsible for building with big servers. The supremacy of flash memory compared to hard drives common tested, perhaps some studies where they are giving their best to hurt the memories SSD, performance, but according to Sun, its performance is superior and we understand that they know something the rest do not .
