Blogger Claims to have News of Apple Closing this Tuesday!
Posted in Apple on 7 September 2008

Is Apple closing up on the 8th of this month? If you haven’t heard about this scandalous piece of news, don’t be surprised. Blogger Toeman happened upon this juicy bit of news that he claims is an actual internal memo that an Apple employee sent him. The memo, intended for all Apple employees, is signed by CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs writes that it is time to close down Apple because after creating the best phones and laptops and outselling their competition, he isn’t able to find any other industry exciting enough to monopolise.

Jobs asks all employees to clear their desks by the end of the last working day as all of the office buildings would be immediately demolished. The memo moves from shocking to hilarious as Jobs happily tells his employees that he could be found playing for the Chicago White Sox or filling up as a quarterback with the Jets! Don’t keep your fingers crossed till Tuesday morning. If you believe Apple would close down at the apex of its career then you’ve been taken in by the biggest hoax of the century.

The ecology could, however, come to the aid of those hoping for new screens: the only reason that could push Cupertino to update the range, which apparently still sells well despite the obsolescence is’ commitment made by Steve Jobs to free Halogen of polluting technology in the near future.

According to the latest rumors, would be the Macworld San Francisco the most likely for the announcement: in January could end the long agony of the Cinema Display, a chapter a little embarrassing in the history of Cupertino…
